Our mission

Laurent, co-founder of Tatwa, recently left a podcast on the Youtube channel and Spotify channel channel explaining his recent journey to the Arhuacos and the reason for this project. We invite you to listen to them by clicking on the links.

During a planned trip to their home, the community leaders and Mamos, their spiritual guides, asked us for help because they are in danger. Their culture is endangered, their land is endangered because of theaggressive and uncontrolled exploitation of their land, and their lives are threatened because their status as a protected people does not guarantee them sufficient security to survive. The government has allocated them a protected nature reserve, but they must acquire it before they can enjoy fundamental rights.
They have been fighting Goliat for years, and the battle sometimes seems lost in advance.

Tatwa is convinced thattogether we can help them! By helping them to reclaim their land, by providing the financial resources they need to continue preserving their knowledge, their culture, their lives.
